Timeless Peru

The visit to the Peru pavilion intends to be a contemplative and reflective experience. Spiritual and emotional. This is achieved by creating a visitor journey which is highly sensoric and immersive, through space, audio and video.

The aim is to reconnect the visitor with mother earth, as it reveals the relationship and commitment of Peru to our planet and thus demonstrate Peru as a nation to visit, to collaborate, trade or innovate with.

On a contemplative level, the visitor journey starts with an immersion to a world of harmony and balance, of the spirit and culture of the Peruvian people. From there the visitor is taken along the rich spectrum of biodiversity and natural sights and sounds of the Peruvian landscape and what they have made possible for the Peruvian people. The journey continues on the theme of Food and Creativity. Both of which are connected to timelessness in Peru.  It ends with a final celebration, symbolizing the climax of a transcendent journey – all who witness it will forever be embedded with a newfound spirit of respect to all of nature, and connected to the world through  Peruvian  wisdom.

There will be four constants throughout the journey: heritage,  biodiversity, gastronomy and creativity all of which convey that Peru is I fact a timeless Country.

The journey ends with a reflection on the journey itself and an invitation, as the Peruvians do, to celebrate a period, an activity, an achievement or a remembrance; through Dance.
